Robotics/IoT Lab room summary
The Robotics/IoT Lab (ICT 215) is the central location to find equipment and tools related to robotics and Internet of Things (IoT) development. Here you will find open workspaces, demos, projects that you can participate in, and supplies/equipment for robotics and IoT development, such as:
- ABB YuMi® (dual-arm robot)
- Kinova Gen3 (single-arm robot)
- EZ-Robots
- Spheros
- VeX Robotics kits and parts
- Turtle Bot
- Elev-8 Quadcopter
- Robotis OpenManipulator
- NAO
- Laptops for using ROS (Robot Operating System)
- sensors
- actuators
- microcontrollers (e.g. Arduinos)
- microcomputers (e.g. Raspberry Pis)
One of the main features of the Robotics/IoT Lab is our Smart City. If you're interested in IoT but you're not sure where to start, the Smart City is a great platform to learn about IoT.
