Schulich Makerspace: General Access Training

Quizzes in D2L

To verify that you have read and understood the key points of this training, you will need to complete a short quiz. These quizzes are administered using D2L. Follow the instructions below to enroll yourself in the M2Z - Quizzes D2L course. 

New to M²Z - Quizzes on D2L?

  1. Log in to D2L using your username and password
  2. Click on "My Tools" and select “Self-Registration” from the dropdown menu
  3. From the list of courses available for self-registration, select "M²Z - Quizzes"
  4. Click on the register button, then complete the registration by clicking on the submit button

General access training quiz

Once you have registered yourself in the M2Z - Quizzes D2L shell, take the Makerspace General Access Training quiz. A grade of 90% or above is required to pass. You will be given 2 attempts to complete the quiz.

Waiver

In addition to passing the quiz, you must sign a waiver. Instructions to do this will be provided via email upon successful completion of the quiz. This email will take up to 24 hours to receive. Please note that the waiver must be renewed annually.

Your first visit

We can't wait to see you! When you come for your first visit, please bring your UCalgary Unicard and see one of our staff members to complete your registration.
