Here at the Maker Multiplex and Zetta, we have access to a
number of enterprise grade servers. These powerful machines
are located in the server room inside of the Digital Design Lab in
ICT 216. There are countless reasons you might want to run code
on a server. Maybe you're running a large simulation and need
your computer to complete other work. Maybe your code will take
a few weeks to run and you need a stable platform for it to keep
running on. M2Z is here to provide you with resources to enable
your projects!
The Maker Multiplex and Zetta: General Access Training is required to access all Maker Multilplex and Zetta spaces and equipment, including remote access to server resources.
While not strictly required, we recommend you have a good understanding of computer fundamentals before making a request. If you need anything other than a Windows VM created, you will need a good understanding of navigating terminals to make proper use of the server resources.
