ABB Yumi: Jogging Tutorial

This tutorial provides a step by step instructions on jogging the ABB Yumi using the FlexPendant.

Before you start

Before you start working on this tutorial, you must have:

  1. Read the ABB YuMi: General Guide, and
  2. Taken and passed the ABB YuMi: General Quiz.

After completing the above steps, book the ABB YuMi robot. Follow the step-by-step instructions given in the next section once you are in the Robotics and Mechatronics Makerspace and have been given access to the robot.

Introduction

In this tutorial, you will learn how to jog (move the robot via the FlexPendant) one of Yumi's arms to transfer puzzle pieces from one baseboard to another, as shown below:
