Kinova Gen 3 is a pioneering industrial robot created for research by the Canadian technology company, Kinova. It is capable of bringing ideas, such as dynamic grasping, mobile manipulation, vision-based manipulation, and many more, to life. Its innovative software framework provides the user with different options to control the robot, these include, the Xbox gamepad, Kortex web app, or through programming languages, such as Python and C++. It is also possible to control the robot through platforms like ROS (robot operating system) and MATLAB.
