Lightboard

Room guide

After entering the room you can see:

  • The lightboard in front of you
  • One button start device behind the board
  • Light controllers on the left side of the board
  • Markers in the cabinet beside the board

 

One button setup

Start recording

To use the lightboard in your lecture and record your session, follow these simple steps:

1. Remove camera's cap

2. Turn on the board's lights

3. Turn off the room lights before starting recording

4. Insert your USB drive (the light on the device will start blinking)

5. Wait for 3 seconds

6. Press the red button to start recording (the light on the device will become solid)

7. Once you have finished your lecture, press the red button again to stop recording

8. Wait 3 seconds and remove your USB drive

9. Put the lens cap on the camera

Use notes

Embed a PowerPoint presentation

1. Set the background of your slides to black

2. Copy your slides to the station's laptop (or you can use your own laptop)

3. Use the HDMI cable to duplicate your screen (your notes can be shown on the top monitor)

4. Use the overlay cable and connect it to your laptop, this will overlay lightboard content on your presentation (output can be seen on the bottom monitor)

5. Follow the steps in the Start recording section to start your recording (the content of the bottom monitor will be recorded)

 

Broadcast live on Zoom

1. Connect the live cable to your laptop

2. Open Zoom meeting on your laptop

3. Choose lightboard studio as your audio and video input

4. If you have PowerPoint slides, follow the steps in the Embed PowerPoint section
