Uploading G-code to Astroprint

After generating the G-code for your print with PrusaSlicer (or another slicer software), you are now ready to upload it to Astroprint.

The following options will only be available to you after having completed the quiz associated with this guide.

From Astroprint's dashboard,  go to Design Library >>  My private folder. Upload your G-code file by clicking on the Upload Files button located on the right hand side (see the picture below) and selecting your file on the pop-up window.

Once the file is on your Private Folder, you can add it to the group queue as follows:

  1. click on the ... button to the left of the G-code file you want to print
  2. Select Add to Queue
  3. Go to the Group Queues tab and click on Add to Group Queue...
  4. Select a filament colour (optional). If the colour is left unselected, we will use the first available colour. Use this option whenever possible to get your print request processed as soon as possible. If you specify a colour and we run out of that colour, we will print your part when the requested colour is back in stock.
  5. Click on Add to queue

NOTE: All prints done in the Makerspace MUST comply with the student code of conduct for the University of Calgary. Information on this can be found here (https://www.ucalgary.ca/student-services/student-conduct)
